Hi - just installed Granthika but was a little uncertain why the installer needed to punch a hole into the firewall. Is that expected behavior. Also, Smart Defender stopped an app from opening when I started writing. Is that also expected?

Thanks much or trying it out! Normally, it doesn’t need an internet connection at all. And if it did require connectivity, that’s an issue we have to fix.
Do you mean Smart Defender stopped some other app from opening because of Granthika? Definitely not expected. We can try to reproduce - is it Mac or Windows?

Just realized you are talking about « Windows Smart Defender » in the subject, so I’m guessing you are on Windows

Granthika does not need any external internet access so you should be able to just click cancel when prompted to allow it through the firewall. Its a user experience issue we will address. As for the other issue with another app not opening - can you give us details about which (or what kind of) app it is?
