On Discourse and History

Fair warning: some (simplified) literary theory coming up. But all in the service of describing how Granthika works.

This is a companion discussion topic for the original entry at http://blog.granthika.co/on-discourse-and-history/

Hi Vikram,
This post of yours is an excellent example of how literary theory can be gainfully employed outside of academia! Liked it for that.
Look forward to the (monthly?) online tutorial.
Regards,
Rituparna.

Rituparna – I’m hoping more often than once a month, but life’s been a blur recently. Glad you like it.

Speaking of un-gainful employment, can’t wait to see if you can loop in Deconstructionism… at my Berkeley in the 70s, was still a thing.

Deconstructionism, ha! Not until strictly necessary, I promise. I suppose Cultural Studies is the thing nowadays, not sure how I can fit that in. Maybe when we go multi-media.
